BEDA: Blog Every Day in April; April 6th

April 6th
I need to tell Amerah a story, and so I'm killing two birds with one stone (cliche) by blogging about it for my BEDA blog... Yeah, story:
I was having a cool conversation with my former Seminary teacher, Brother Anderson, and we were talking about how non-fiction literature was good, and biographies were cool, but to write one, you have to be a semi-good story-teller as well. So, I was telling him about the conversation that Amerah and I were having via text message last night/this morning. I was telling him about how we've been doing email quizzes for a while and about how we save them and laugh at ourselves. I also talked about how that's sort of how Amerah and I keep in contact, (besides, like, Twitter and Facebook), and Brother Anderson was like, "That's very interesting. I like the idea of you two maintaining a friendship by doing email quizzes back and forth, and I also like how you save them and laugh at yourselves years later, because it's important to know where you are, but it's also important to know how you got there... I think you could write a very good article, if not an excellent book about how you maintain your friendships using technology and email quizzes."
I thought this was absolutely hilarious, because we were totally kidding about how important email quizzes were to our development or whatever.... I also thought that it was kind of hilarious that he was the first person to EVER find our email-quiz-doing interesting. This, my friends is my story... There was a lot more to what our conversation was about, but I don't remember how exactly things went, and I'm kind of too busy working on stuff to write it all out.

  1. This is awesome. I find it pretty cool, like if we went through ever e-mail quiz ever done (by us) we could make it into like a timeline (except I don't really talk about what I do alllll the time in these quizzes, just what people I'm obsessed with). I'm seriously going to try and write a fake autobiography that will be like 15 pages long and that's it, or something.
